Objective: Expository Writing
- Bell Work: Think about all of the articles in the "Action" Magazine from yesterday. Were they fiction or non-fiction? If they were non-fiction, were they written to persuade or explain? What is the difference between writing to persuade and writing to explain?
- Discuss the bell work, as a class. You don't have to write anything down.
- Characteristics of the expository essay-handout
- Expository Summarizing Framework for taking risks.
- NOT HOMEWORK...if you work hard!!!!
